Ken Parker unveiled the Fly in 1993 using a thin poplar or mahogany body encased in carbon fiber with stainless frets bonded to a glass-epoxy fretboard. Piezo-equipped bridges, magnetic pickups, and sub-five-pound weight made it a forward-thinking session tool.
