Gibson Hummingbird

Square-shouldered power backed by ornate pickguard art.

The 1960 Hummingbird brought Gibson into the square-shoulder dreadnought race with a mahogany body, adjustable bridge, and eye-catching engraved pickguard. It offered a brighter attack than the J-45 while remaining balanced for strumming, and became a studio staple through the Laurel Canyon era.
